Tragedy has struck an X (formerly Twitter) user known as Enugu of Lagos, who recently made headlines for questioning reality TV star Phyna’s alleged ₦1 billion compensation demand from Dangote Group over a fatal truck incident.

According to reports by Eyes of Lagos, Enugu announced on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, that his brother had died in a separate crash involving a Dangote truck. The accident, which occurred near the Four Corner area, reportedly claimed three lives.

Sharing a photo from the crash scene, the grieving man wrote:

“Another accident happened this afternoon just beside that Four Corner and claimed the lives of four persons including my brother .”

The tragic development comes barely days after Enugu had criticized Phyna over her public outcry for justice and a reported ₦1 billion demand against Dangote Group. Phyna’s younger sister, Ruth, was fatally injured by a Dangote truck on August 13, 2025, in Auchi, Edo State, shortly after graduating from Auchi Polytechnic. Ruth succumbed to her injuries on August 31, sparking outrage on social media and renewed debates on road safety and corporate accountability.

The coincidence of events has since stirred conversations online, with many X users expressing shock over the irony of Enugu’s personal loss following his earlier remarks.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the latest crash.
