Popular Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has been appointed as the Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas.

The appointment, which had previously gone viral on May 10th when images of Badmus receiving her appointment letter surfaced online, was officially announced by the actress herself on her Instagram account on Monday.

In her post, Badmus expressed her gratitude to Speaker Abbas for entrusting her with this role, describing it as a “significant milestone” in her career. She pledged her commitment to working diligently and upholding the principles and values of the team, emphasizing her eagerness to collaborate with her colleagues to achieve collective goals.

Badmus wrote, “It’s Official. SA to the Speaker House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Social Events and Public Hearing.” She further added, “This appointment is not only a significant milestone in my career but also a chance to contribute meaningfully to our shared goals and vision.”

The actress also acknowledged the support and belief that Speaker Abbas has placed in her, stating that it means a great deal to her and that she is committed to making a positive impact in her new role.
