A new video circulating online has shed light on how Jennifer’s interaction with Emmanuel, a man she met on the internet, first unfolded.
The video, shared by X user @ChuksEricE, captures Jennifer narrating that while Emmanuel lived in Abuja and she in Asaba, their connection began virtually. She said their early conversations centered on whether she would travel to meet him.
According to her, Emmanuel suddenly transferred N50,000 alongside a text message instructing her to come see him the next day.
“Out of the blue, he just sent me N50,000 and a text message saying, this is your transportation, I want to see you tomorrow,” Jennifer explained.
She added that the amount was not enough to cover her trip, leading her to ask him to consider visiting her instead.
The disclosure has since stirred mixed reactions across social media, with users debating the role of money and expectations in modern online relationships.
