It was a moment of joy, praise, and heartfelt worship as children, family members, brethren, ministers of God, and well-wishers gathered at the residence of Prophet Moses A. Aladeolu, founder of Ori Oke Aanu, Ojoo, Ibadan, to celebrate his 86th birthday.
The celebrant, visibly elated by the presence of loved ones, chose Psalm 47 as the song of the day, signifying his gratitude to God. Dressed in sparkling white attire alongside his beautiful wife of many years, Prophet Aladeolu radiated joy and thanksgiving.
Fondly called “Baba Aladeolu,” he expressed deep gratitude to God for His mercy, protection, and faithfulness over his life, household, ministry, and all that concerns him. He attributed his strength and vitality to God’s grace, affirming that he finds joy in singing and praying to the Lord.
He encouraged fellow believers to trust in God wholeheartedly, emphasizing that nothing is too difficult for God to do when called upon with a pure heart and sincere faith.
One of his children, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade—popularly known as Omo Woli and the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Prayer Mountain of Mercy, District Headquarters, Ojoo, Ibadan—described his father as a true servant of God whose life exemplifies grace.
Pastor Alade shared that his father has been his first teacher and mentor, a man of humility and perseverance. He noted that even at 86, Prophet Aladeolu remains ever ready to sing, dance, and pray.
Attendees at the celebration praised Baba Aladeolu for the positive impact he has made in their lives and prayed for many more years of good health and strength in God’s service.
Among those present were Mrs. Eunice Alade, wife of Pastor Isaiah O. Alade, other children and grandchildren of the celebrant, renowned Bible scholar Dr. Johnson Olunlade, members of CAC Ori Oke Aanu, Ojoo, and many others.
Highlights of the celebration included the cutting of the 86th birthday cake, sessions of praise and worship, and a humorous segment where attendees mimicked Prophet Aladeolu’s unique style of praying, singing, and clapping.
