Judiciary Workers Thrash Governor’s Office Team 7-0 at Oyo Public Service Games

The Governor’s Office football team on Tuesday suffered a heavy defeat in the ongoing Oyo State Public Service Games 2025, conceding 0-7 against the Judiciary workers in a one-sided encounter.

The match, played on August 19, 2025, saw the Justice team display superior coordination and finishing, leaving the Governor’s Office side with no chance to recover from the early onslaught.

In another fixture of the day, the Tourism team defeated Social Welfare 3-0, securing their place in the next stage of the competition.

With these results, Tourism and Justice will face off in the semi-final on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., while Education will battle Safety & Security in the second semi-final at 11:00 a.m.

Meanwhile, attention now shifts to the next round of fixtures scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2025. Legislative will take on Infrastructure at 9:00 a.m., followed by a clash between Health and Commerce & Industry at 11:00 a.m.

The annual Public Service Games bring together workers across ministries, departments, and agencies in Oyo State to promote sportsmanship, unity, and healthy competition within the public service.
