Legendary Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has addressed swirling rumours surrounding his marriage to his wife, Emmanuella, dismissing claims of a marital crisis and plans to take a new wife.
The speculation began after an anonymous blogger alleged that Emmanuella had been sent packing and embarked on a solo vacation, hinting at a possible fallout in their relationship. The rumour mill gained further traction following K1’s public appearance with Afrobeats superstar, Davido, with some suggesting he was preparing to remarry.
However, in an exclusive interview with journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, the Fuji maestro set the record straight. While choosing to keep personal details private, he affirmed that his marriage to Emmanuella remains intact, describing the recent gossip as baseless.
“The only issues we’ve had are about setting healthy boundaries and expectations,” K1 stated, adding that he had encouraged Emmanuella to concentrate more on her business ventures, just as he has immersed himself in ongoing personal and professional projects.
Addressing speculations about marrying another woman, the music legend flatly denied the claims, stressing, “I have no intention of marrying anyone else. Emmanuella is my one and only wife.” He also clarified that his former wife, Titi Marshal, is no longer part of his life.
K1 further debunked a viral video allegedly suggesting his involvement with another woman, labelling it as misleading and unfounded.
The veteran singer’s statement comes amid continued online chatter, including alleged tension between Emmanuella and Titi, particularly during K1’s mother’s burial. Despite the noise, K1 maintained his focus on his music and major projects, calling for privacy and respect for his family.
