In a recent development following the viral incident of controversial Street-pop artist Portable’s arrest, Big Debbie has finally come forward to share her perspective on the matter.
On her Instagram page, Debbie, also known as Aunty Feso Wole but identified as Deborah, revealed the events that led to Portable’s arrest over a N14m car debt.
Debbie explained that she acted as a mediator between Portable and the car dealer who sold him a Mercedez Benz GLE on an installment payment plan. She disclosed that Portable had only driven the car twice due to its faulty condition, for which hefty sums were spent on repairs.
The rift emerged when Portable halted further payments, leading to a confrontation between himself, Debbie, and the car dealer. Despite attempting to resolve the issue peacefully by suggesting a visit to the police station, Portable’s refusal and perceived threats prompted Debbie to involve the authorities for a resolution among all parties involved.
Debbie’s revelation came after allegations of her intention to release compromising videos of Portable, with the subsequent engagement of netizens on social media platforms discussing the situation.
Separately, Portable had a confrontation with show promoter Billyque after an incident in Kenya, wherein the singer accused Billyque of conspiracy and physical assault, prompting further discussions in the music industry.
