My father’s father is from Abeokuta, my mum’s mum is half Delta Igbo, I was raised by her. On my mother’s side, my mum’s dad is from Ijebu Ode. But does it make me a less Yoruba girl? If I’m to pick a State I’m from, I will definitely pick my father’s father state which is Abeokuta. It doesn’t make me less a Yoruba girl and it doesn’t make me less a Nigerian”.
