The abductors of Tayo Adolokun, popularly called ‘Tasman’ has released the Lagos socialite after collecting the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira (#200million) ransom on Thursday morning, The Chronicler reported.
He was released to his family at an undisclosed location in Lagos and has been admitted for medical treatment and observation.
The popular owner of music instruments and studio rental business, Adolokun was abducted on Sunday morning on his way to church and the Lagos police command was notified by his family.
A voice record was made available to The Chronicler Newspaper by a family member who sought anonymity during the negotiation period in which the socialite was pleading with a member of the family not to involve the police but to go out and seek every means to get the ransom for the kidnappers.
”……,Please find a way to get the money, call my friends, my children, my family to get the money, I will repay them when I’m freed, I will sell my properties to pay, please.
”…..Please don’t involve the police o! Think of my life, do not involve the police, my life is more important than the money, just go and call my friends to get the money,” he pleaded on the call.
Upon Tasman’s release on Thursday morning, a member of the family sent message of joy to our correspondent to appreciate God and those that rallied round the victim to secure his freedom.
“FINALLY, GOD HAS ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS! It is no longer a news that Mr. Temitayo Adeolokun, otherwise known as TASMAN was kidnapped.
“To the glory of God, all hands were on deck to call upon God for his harmless release. God showed the family GREAT MERCY over him. He used MEN for us. The name of the Lord is glorified, prayer was answered , “oju ko ti Owo”, he was released alive. The devil is put to shame. Our story is NOT finally, we lost him.
“Emi ba ni egberun ahon ko to fun iyin Olugbala”.
“MEN OF GOD prayed, friends demonstrated love, family showed that blood is thicker than water.
Above all, God was behind the scene for his safe release, Hallelujah!
“TASMAN, it gladdens my heart that I am not writing your tribute in a time like this. Rather, to celebrate God’s mercy over your life.
“Our covenant with God was “if he is released alive and unharmed, we will praise HIM “. Lo and behold, God has done it. Thank you, Jesus, we are grateful unto you. Praise is still awaiting you in our family,” the family member said.
