A leaked audio recording circulating on social media has stirred controversy, alleging that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan took her husband, Emmanuel Akpoti-Uduaghan, from her best friend.
The authenticity of the recording remains unverified, but it features a man claiming to be the father of Emmanuel’s estranged wife. In the conversation, he accuses Senator Natasha of orchestrating the separation and manipulating the situation to her advantage.
This controversy comes amid Senator Natasha’s recent suspension from the Senate, where she represents Kogi Central. Her suspension followed allegations that Senate President Godswill Akpabio sexually assaulted her—claims that have led to her being labeled a blackmailer by some political figures.
Additionally, the man in the leaked conversation accuses Senator Natasha of blackmailing his daughter by using explicit photos to suggest she was engaged in an extramarital affair, allegedly to damage her reputation in her marriage.
Senator Natasha has yet to release an official statement addressing the allegations. However, sources close to her suggest the claims may be politically motivated, aiming to discredit her.
