Dr. Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle, a lecturer at Prince Abubakar Audu University (formerly Kogi State University), Anyigba, has reportedly passed away under controversial circumstances while in the company of a 200-level student at a hotel.

According to local sources, the incident occurred at a yet-to-be-identified hotel in Anyigba, where the lecturer had allegedly checked in with the female student. Details surrounding the cause of death remain unclear as of press time, but unconfirmed reports suggest he may have slumped and died in the room.
