Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved a major reshuffle in his administration with the dissolution of the board of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) and the appointment of Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami as the new board chairman.
This development was confirmed in a statement issued by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
In a related move, Governor Makinde appointed Hon. Adeyinka Kazim Adeniyi, popularly known as Bibire, as the new Deputy Chief of Staff. His appointment follows the resignation of Hon. Fola Sunday Oyekunle, who recently emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election scheduled for August 16, 2025.
Additionally, the governor approved the appointment of Hon. Kabiru Salami, a retired police officer, as Executive Assistant (Security Coordination), while Hon. Waheed Adeniyi was named the new Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Authority (OYOWMA).
Governor Makinde congratulated the new appointees and charged them to view their appointments as a call to dedicated service to the state.
All appointments take immediate effect.
