Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late father, Pa Olatubosun Makinde, 13 years after his demise.

In a touching Facebook post on Monday, Governor Makinde shared a photo of himself at his father’s tomb, accompanied by an emotional message reflecting on the enduring impact of the late patriarch’s legacy.

“Today, we remember our beloved father, Pa Olatubosun Makinde on the 13th anniversary of his passing,” the governor wrote. “We miss his wisdom that guided us in making tough decisions and the joy of simple moments we shared. Though he is no longer with us, we are comforted by the thought that he is resting peacefully. Rest on dad, till we meet to part no more.”
