A man has been arrested after he disguised himself as an electricity worker from PHCN in order to rob a couple in an area in Lagos State.
According to the report, the man posed as a PHCN worker and entered an estate, where he approached a couple and stated that he needed to check their meter, claiming that his colleagues would soon join him.
“He attempted to enter their living room, but the husband refused. He insisted on entering the living room, and that’s when the husband raised an alarm. The security personnel in the estate gathered around and apprehended him. Upon inspecting his bag, they discovered three pieces of a cutlass and a hammer.”
