A Nigerian man has ended his two-year relationship with his girlfriend after she portrayed the character of a witch in a school drama.
According to the details shared on TikTok by the female student from Tai Solarin University of Education, the couple had been together for quite some time before the incident occurred.
The lady, who was tasked with playing the role of a witch in a school production, shared photos of herself in the costume online. However, her boyfriend seemed to take offense to her portrayal of the character and decided to end the relationship.
In a WhatsApp exchange that the student shared, the boyfriend expressed his displeasure with her role, stating that he was not happy with her decision to play a witch. He went on to say that he no longer wanted to continue the relationship, despite the lady’s pleas for an explanation.
The boyfriend argued that the lady’s behavior, which he felt was reminiscent of a witch, had been “proved” by her performance in the school drama. He insisted that she should have rejected the role, rather than taking on the unflattering character.
The lady, however, maintained that it was the role she had been given and that she had no choice in the matter. Nonetheless, her boyfriend remained resolute in his decision to end the relationship.
