Panic swept through the business district surrounding Cocoa House in Ibadan, Oyo State, early Monday morning after an unidentified man fell from one of the upper floors of the 26-storey building.
Eyewitnesses described the shocking scene. “At first, I thought it was a bird falling,” one witness said. “It wasn’t until he hit the ground that I realized it was a person. I was too shocked to react.”
Another observer added, “He hit a roof near the security post before landing. It was terrifying to watch.”
The circumstances surrounding the fall remain unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation.
