A Jazeera Africa analyst, Osasu Obayiuwana has called out Ivorian Authorities after seeing in a viral video the ways women were searched before entering the Stadium at the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament.
How can the #Ivorian authorities think that this is okay? 😳 #TotalEnergiesAFCON2023 cc: @AOuattara_PRCI pic.twitter.com/DzrUVrqIXt

But reacting, a Nairalander @NwaAmaikpe made case for the Ivorian police pressing women’s breasts in the viral video.
According to the Nairalander, ladies in the video didn’t show in their faces disgusts or repulsions for being touched in that manner.
In his reaction to post on social media platform, he wrote;
Osasu, I really admire your concern but please remove your mouth from this matter.
Before you try to cry more than the bereaved, go through that video again and point out just one lady whose face showed disgust or repulsion for being touched like that?
Back then, I had female relatives who will deliberately enter crowded molue buses or go to JAMB office during the rush for exam centre lists just so that they can be pressed on by men.
I’ve had several ladies tell me they just need a good boob squeezing to ease out its muscles from a supposed pain it gets from male neglect.
I refuse to believe that Shakespeare was drunk when he wrote “All is well that ends well”. So, if the presser is happy and the pressee is happier, will it be fair for the Ivorian government to interfere in their bliss?
