A Zimbabwean man, identified as Kelvin Mhofu Ngoshi, tragically ended his life on Facebook Live after reportedly discovering that his girlfriend had cheated on him. The incident occurred over the weekend, leaving friends and family in shock and disbelief.
According to sources, Ngoshi stumbled upon the heartbreaking news that his girlfriend, known only as Kudzi, was involved in an extramarital affair. The revelation shattered him emotionally. Disturbed by the betrayal, Ngoshi decided to end the relationship, unaware of the retaliation awaiting him.
It is alleged that Kudzi, in an act of revenge, reported Ngoshi’s illicit coal business to law enforcement authorities in South Africa, where he was based. This action potentially placed Ngoshi at risk of the law catching up to him.
In a distressing Facebook Live video, Ngoshi did not utter a single word. He instead filmed himself consuming what initially appeared to be a harmless Coca-Cola drink. However, it later became apparent that the beverage had been spiked with a toxic substance. Ngoshi tragically passed away, leaving behind a young daughter.
The couple had been known to be in a relationship since 2016, although they briefly separated before reconciling in 2023. Unfortunately, recent reports indicate that Ngoshi was also involved in illicit coal deals in Mpumalanga, South Africa, which complicated his situation even further.
In addition to betrayal by Kudzi, her betrayal extended to exposing Ngoshi’s illegal coal business to the authorities, pushing him into a corner. The mounting pressures ultimately led this troubled soul to take his own life, leaving behind his young daughter and a sister battling cancer. Ngoshi had been the sole provider for his family, as he had lost both of his parents.
The circumstances surrounding Ngoshi’s suicide are deeply distressing and highlight the devastating consequences of emotional turmoil.
