A shocking incident has occurred in Ibadan, where a middle-aged man known as Alfa Ahmed has been accused of murdering his grandfather and uncle in a suspected money ritual. The gruesome event took place on Sunday evening behind a busy market in the Apete area of Ido Local Government.

According to eyewitness accounts, the 62-year-old grandfather was visually impaired, and the uncle was also in poor health at the time of the attack. A witness stated, “Alfa Ahmed took advantage of his grandfather’s condition, as he was unable to defend himself against the assault.”

Unconfirmed sources suggested that Ahmed’s motives were tied to occult practices, specifically aiming to use parts of the victims’ bodies for ritualistic purposes. The attack reportedly occurred between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm, prompting nearby residents to alert the police due to the heightened tension in the area.
