Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has accused his son of using his glory while he was alive.
In a video that has surfaced online, the grieving father made some startling claims about his relationship with his son and the management of Mohbad’s wealth.
“My son was using my glory,” Aloba stated. “Wunmi’s pastor told Wunmi that it’s my glory Mohbad was using.” He further alleged that despite Mohbad’s wealth, he did not provide for his father, but instead “was giving his mother millions.”
Aloba expressed his disbelief, saying, “My son had money but didn’t give me, he was giving his mother millions when I got to where he Rented 3 shops for his mother, I was marveled.”
The father also claimed that Mohbad’s mother was the one who was receiving all the money, and she was unaware of even basic details about her son’s life, such as the school he attended or his friends.
“Mohbad Mother was the one taking all the money, she doesn’t even know the school Mohbad attended talkless of any Mohbad school friends,” Aloba said.
The video also revealed that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, was reportedly leaving the house angrily for 3 days due to the text messages she saw on Mohbad’s phone.
The tragic circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death have left his family members with many unanswered questions, and this latest revelation from his father has only added to the complexity of the situation.
