An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday cleared Miss Comfort Emmason of all charges relating to alleged unruly behaviour and assault on the flight crew of an Ibom Air aircraft flying from Uyo to Lagos on Monday.
Presiding Magistrate Olanrewaju Salami struck out the five-count charge after the police prosecution team announced its decision to withdraw the case.
At the resumed hearing, prosecutor Oluwabunmi Adeitan informed the court of new developments that prompted the withdrawal, tendering a formal application to discontinue the matter. The court admitted the application and officially discharged Emmason of all allegations.
