In a recent StationHead stream, renowned rapper Nicki Minaj openly expressed her admiration for Nigerian music superstar Wizkid.
Minaj, often referred to as the “Queen of Rap,” revealed that she has “much love and respect” for the “Ojuelegba” crooner. She described Wizkid as a “very chill and smart” individual.
“He [Wizkid] is a very, very cool, chill guy. He’s really that guy, very smart. I have much love and respect for him,” Minaj said during the online session.
The American rapper also disclosed that she had the opportunity to meet Wizkid while she was recording her 2018 album “Queen” in a studio in Queens, New York.
Despite persistent rumors of a potential Wizkid and Nicki Minaj collaboration over the years, the two artists have not yet released any songs together or confirmed the existence of an unreleased project.
Minaj’s public admiration for Wizkid is sure to excite their respective fan bases, who have long speculated about a possible musical partnership between the two global superstars.
