Nollywood Actor identified among kidnappers Killed in Shootout with Police (VIDEO/PHOTOS)

A rising Nollywood actor has been reported as one of the casualties in a recent police operation targeting a suspected kidnapping gang in Lagos.

According to reports, the Lagos State Police Command’s Special Squad One Team engaged a nine-man suspected kidnap gang around the Ajao, Okota, Isolo, and Ladipo axis of the state on July 5th. The operation resulted in the death of all nine suspects, with the police recovering five AK-47 rifles and two SUV jeeps.

Prominent film producer and former Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), Seun Oloketuyi, has now revealed that one of the slain suspects was Prince Henry Ode, a rising actor from Port Harcourt. Ode was also the executive producer for popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie.

Oloketuyi shared photos and a video of Ode on his Instagram, captioning the post, “Ason Rich executive Producer is said to be the Ring Leader of the Kidnap gang that were shot dead in Lagos with a Port Harcourt based rising Actor, They were part of those killed in the Ladipo shooting according to reports.”
