A woman has come forward in defence of Comfort Emmason, the Ibom Air passenger whose top was forcefully yanked off during a heated altercation while being dragged off a plane.
The supporter, who recounted her own experience, alleged that the same air hostess involved in Sunday’s incident has a reputation for arrogance and vindictiveness towards passengers.
According to her, the air hostess once caused a major disruption during a flight to Accra after clashing with another passenger. She claimed the hostess ordered the pilot to return the aircraft to Lagos mid-journey, leading to the removal of the passenger by security before the flight resumed without them.
“This is not the first time she’s been involved in such an incident,” the woman alleged. “She likes to show power and doesn’t hesitate to humiliate passengers.”
The recent clash involving Comfort Emmason has sparked outrage after videos emerged showing her being dragged from the aircraft with her top torn open, exposing her chest. The incident has ignited a fierce debate over airline staff conduct, passenger rights, and the handling of in-flight disputes.
Ibom Air is yet to respond to the fresh allegations regarding the air hostess’s past conduct.
