The Federal Character Commissioner representing Oyo State and former Commissioner for Education, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to well-wishers who celebrated his 62nd birthday on May 3, 2025.

In a public message on Facebook titled Appreciation, Professor Olowofela acknowledged the overwhelming support and goodwill he received on his special day. He opted not to mention individual names to avoid any unintended omissions, instead offering a broad but heartfelt message of gratitude.

“I thank Almighty God for keeping me alive,” he began, also appreciating his immediate and extended family, lifelong friends, professional colleagues—both senior and junior—across academia and the Ajumose Marines.

He extended thanks to his political allies in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and supporters from other political parties, as well as to his spiritual mentors and mentees, online well-wishers, benefactors, and the governments of Ido Local Government, Oyo State, and the Federal Government of Nigeria.

“I’m overwhelmed by the felicitations and camaraderie from all. Thank you and God bless you all. Ese Modupe ooo,” he concluded.
