The Olugbon of Orile-Igbon and Vice Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, Oba Francis Olushola Alao, has extended his condolences to former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, following the passing of her daughter, Bisola Kola-Daisi.
Mrs. Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, passed away in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning after a brief illness.
In a statement, Oba Francis (and Olori Olusola Alao) expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss, describing it as heartbreaking, especially coming just five years after the death of her father.
“The sad news is distressing. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, her children, and the entire Kola-Daisi family. Bisola was a woman of grace, kindness, and warmth whose presence brought light to those around her,” the statement said.
The monarch and his wife also sympathized with her husband, Chief Kolapo Kola-Daisi, their children, and other members of the Kola-Daisi family, acknowledging the immense pain caused by her sudden passing.
They prayed for strength and comfort for both families, urging them to find solace in the positive impact Bisola had on those around her.
“Though she did not live as long as we all would have wished, she lived a meaningful and impactful life. May Almighty Allah grant her soul Aljanna Firdaus and give her family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement concluded.
