Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdurosheed Akanbi, has taken action to rehabilitate and empower 50 young individuals who have been labeled as ‘thugs.’
The monarch distributed cash gifts to the youths as part of an initiative to promote their vocational skills and provide them with the means to start their own businesses.
Oba Akanbi expressed his commitment to redeem and reintegrate these individuals into society, emphasizing that they are not thugs but rather valuable assets of Iwo.
He called on the beneficiaries to utilize the money judiciously, exclaiming that he has faith in their ability to succeed.
The Oluwo of Iwoland aims to ensure that these young individuals become a source of pride and serve as positive representatives of the community.
