The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has returned from Brazil where he officially presented a Certificate of Yoruba Territory to Quilombola territory in the country, making the city the first outside Africa to receive the title.
The highly revered Yoruba king also on Tuesday addressed Brazil’s Federal House of Assembly where he officially inaugurated the first-ever National Orisa Day in the South American country.
The monarch during his return to Nigeria on Thursday morning met the popular Fuji musician, Taye Currency at Muritala International Airport in Lagos.
In a video posted by singer’s media aide, Tope Eleyufa, the monarch was seen congratulating him on the re-election of his son to the Oyo State House of Assembly as Currency jets out of Nigeria to London.
