The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Honorable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, has passed away.
According to reports, Omodewu died in the early hours of Monday while in the United States of America.
Omodewu previously served as a commissioner during the tenure of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. He hailed from Itesiwaju Local Government Area in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone.
The development was confirmed by the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Oyo State, Wasiu Olawale Sadare, who spoke to DAILY POST. Sadare stated, “The chairman is no more. It is true that the chairman is no more. He died in the early hours of today in the USA.”
The death of Honorable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, a prominent member of the APC in Oyo State, has undoubtedly left a void in the political landscape of the state. The party and the people of Oyo State will surely miss his leadership and contributions.
