Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, the Head of Service in Oyo State, visited the home of Mrs. Modupe Adesina, a Senior Director in the Ministry of Trade and Commerce, to offer her condolences on the passing of Mrs. Adesina’s husband, Olajide Adesina. Mr. Adesina, a chartered accountant, passed away in Lagos at the age of 58.
During the visit, Mrs. Oni, accompanied by other senior civil servants, consoled Mrs. Adesina and advised her to find solace in God, stating that nothing happens to human beings without the knowledge of the Maker. Mrs. Oni also offered prayers for Mrs. Adesina and her daughters, wishing them strength during this difficult time. She expressed regret that Mr. Adesina had passed away at a time when his services were needed by the state and the nation. Mrs. Oni concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of Mr. Adesina’s soul.
According to a family source, the burial ceremonies and other activities to honor the deceased will take place next Wednesday and Friday. The late Olajide Adesina, who attended Loyola College, Ibadan, and the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, is survived by his brother, Barrister Adewale Adesina, other siblings, and his elderly mother. His father, Justice Okeyode Adesina of the Oyo State High Court, passed away over 10 years ago.
