Pan-Afrikan Drum Festival 2025 Set to Celebrate Afro-Canadian Heritage in Canada

The highly anticipated 2025 Pan-Afrikan Drum Festival is set to take place in Canada this July, bringing together culture, heritage, and entertainment under the theme: “Revamping Afro-Canadians’ Rich Cultural Heritages through the Drum System for Engendering Global Peace, Justice, and Stronger Institutions.”

Event Highlights

The festival will kick off on Friday, July 25, 2025, in Brampton with an Investment Forum & Youth Empowerment Program. This session will offer free hands-on skills training for youth, aiming to equip them with valuable entrepreneurial and creative abilities.

The festival will conclude on Monday, July 28, 2025, with an exclusive Afternoon with Mayor Olivia Chow at her Toronto office. Participants will also visit significant historical sites across Ontario, highlighting the deep-rooted connections between African and Canadian cultures.

With a blend of entertainment, education, and cultural appreciation, the 2025 Pan-Afrikan Drum Festival promises to be a spectacular celebration of Afro-Canadian heritage.
