Olayinka Agboola, the Chief Operating Officer at Parrot Xtra Media Network, has taken to social media to express his deep sorrow over the passing of his close friend and successful Chartered Accountant, Olajide Adesina. Olajide, whose father was a retired Judge of the Oyo State High Court, passed away at a Lagos hospital last Thursday at the age of 58.
In his emotional tribute, Agboola celebrates Olajide’s life and achievements, stating, “Yes, Jydo Baba, we are pained by your demise but then, we are full of praises to God for the very fulfilled life you lived.” He goes on to describe Olajide as a dependable and generous friend, a devoted family man, a respected professional, and a man of faith.
Agboola recounts a personal experience during his own medical challenge, where Olajide, alongside other prominent individuals, including Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, provided unwavering support and ensured his survival. He recalls Olajide even taking away his work laptops to ensure he focused on his recovery.
The tribute also includes a prayer for Olajide’s family, particularly his wife, Mrs. Modupe Adesina, a Director in the Oyo State Ministry of Trade, as well as his children, mother, and siblings. Agboola emphasizes the significant role Olajide played in their lives, especially as a friend and an integral part of their media network.
Speaking of Olajide’s professional accomplishments, Agboola highlights his expertise in finance, audit, and compliance. He outlines Olajide’s significant roles in esteemed accounting firms and his dedication to ensuring regulatory compliance and improving financial performance for organizations.
