ParrotXtra Media Network, publishers of ParrotXtra Magazine and PMParrotng.com, has expressed deep sympathy with Dr. Yinka Ayefele, MON, following the fire outbreak that destroyed parts of his Music House in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday evening.
In a statement signed by Ambassador Olayinka Agboola, the team leader of ParrotXtra Media, the incident was described as “extremely saddening,” given the importance of the Music House to Ayefele’s creative empire.
“The news of the fire that gutted Dr. Ayefele’s Music House got us really bothered because the facility is the powerhouse of his creative hub. All of us will surely feel the impact,” Agboola said.
He also recalled Ayefele’s unwavering support during ParrotXtra’s 20th anniversary celebration on May 5 this year, noting that Fresh 105.5 FM—one of Ayefele’s flagship platforms—played a vital role in the success of the event.
“Our prayer is that God will hasten the provision of necessary support from well-wishers and supporters to help restore all that was lost in the inferno by Ayefele and his organisation,” the statement added.
Agboola further expressed confidence that the forthcoming 10th anniversary of Fresh FM Nigeria would still record resounding success despite the setback.
“We will continue to stand with Dr. Ayefele as a formidable friend of the house and media partner,” he concluded.
