Peter Obi issues cheque to lady to buy oven to start her baking business

The 2023 presidential candidate under the labour party, Peter Obi may have yet again captured the hearts of some Nigerians after he fulfilled a promise he had made towards a lady shortly after he lost the presidential election.

Peter Obi who had became teary when he was recounting how a lady he approached and was sympathetic towards him said she had money to purchase an oven to start a baking business.

However, Peter Obi who met Gimba Sophia Emmanuel noted that he had to fulfill his pledge to assist her so that she can start her baking business, adding that it was necessary for the enhancement of the production mantra.

Many nonetheless took to the social media handle to give different reactions, where one user particularly pointed out that such an act was a service to humanity.

Another user who expressed happiness over such noted that under normal conditions, Peter Obi would not want to publicize the act, but for the sake of his team who would prefer to promote his act.
