Fast-rising Nigerian content creator, Sanku Comedy, has reportedly died following a ghastly car accident along the Oyo-Ogbomoso road in Ibadan on Monday, September 1.
According to fellow skit maker, Jidex, the tragic crash occurred as Sanku was returning from Ilorin. He disclosed that the accident was severe, leaving the vehicle in a devastating condition. Jidex, who shared a video of the wrecked car, revealed that the crash involved multiple passengers, some of whom sustained injuries, while others, including Sanku Comedy, were critically affected.
He further noted that the impact of the collision was far beyond that of a minor accident, suggesting that Sanku and another passenger did not survive.
The visibly distraught creator urged Nigerians to keep Sanku in their prayers and also appealed for greater caution on the roads, particularly as the year winds down.
In his emotional post, Jidex also referenced the recent death of reality TV star Phyna’s sister, describing the events as “a series of heartbreaking tragedies happening in quick succession.”
As of press time, there has been no official confirmation regarding Sanku Comedy’s condition.
