Prince Julius Adewale Ojo, the founder and President of Julicare Foundation, has been honoured with the prestigious Torchbearer’s Award for his charity work. The award was presented to him on Sunday, October 6, 2024 by a media outlet, the Voice of Africa in Toronto, Canada.

Prince Ojo was among the seven notable persons who received the award. Also among them was His Excellency Mohammed Umar Bago, the Governor of Niger State, Nigeria.

While receiving his award, Prince Ojo advocated for support on behalf of the less-privileged people all over the world. He sought for help from every individual to make a big change in the lives of the poor people. “I have been doing so with my little resources since 2001 and I thank God for it,” he said. He also announced that he was planning to set up his foundation work in Costa Rica.
