Sad! Kidnappers dump woman’s corpse after collecting N6M ransom from family members

A decaying corpse of an abducted lady identified as Kehinde Jibril, a nursing mother has been found in the town of Ago-Oja, which is located in the Asa Local Government Area LGA of Kwara State. The body was dumped by suspected kidnappers who abducted her on Friday, 28th April 2023.

It was reported that the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered on Thursday, 4th May 2023 on Ojoku road in the Ago-Oja neighbourhood after several unsuccessful and relentless efforts made to save her from her captors.

Meanwhile, the deceased, Kehinde has been laid to rest at Ago-Oja according to Islamic rites.

Following the information acquired by news reporters, a family member of the deceased recalled that,they had already paid half payment out of the demanded ransom to her abductors, only to find her corpse by the roadside.

When called upon by news reporters via phone conversation, Daudu Arolu, the traditional leader of Ago-Oja, verified the report saying that, the corpse of the woman was found already decaying by the road. Also, he clarified that she has been buried by her relatives.
