Security operatives in Oyo State have successfully uncovered a hideout of alleged Yoruba Nation agitators, leading to the recovery of a cache of weapons. The Oluyole Security Surveillance Team (OSST) made the breakthrough after recent attacks by the agitators at the Oyo State government secretariat. Their plans to relocate to another area were foiled by the vigilant security team, who detected their suspicious movements despite the agitators donning military uniforms.
Upon receiving information about the whereabouts of the agitators, the coordinator of the OSST team, Comrade Idowu, promptly alerted other security agencies, including the Sanyo police station. Acting on the provided intelligence, the police swiftly organized and apprehended the suspects as they attempted to transport their weaponry from Sanyo to an undisclosed location.
Additionally, this operation led to the discovery of another hideout of alleged Yoruba Nation agitators in the Shagari area. All seized weapons and other items are being held at the police station for further investigation and as evidence against the agitators.
This successful sting operation is a testament to the collaborative efforts of security agencies in Oyo State, who are dedicated to maintaining peace and orderliness. Their actions ensure that the state continues to uphold its reputation as a beacon of peace and progress.
