Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has congratulated Nigerian children on the occasion of this year’s Children’s Day, urging them to remain hopeful and steadfast for a brighter future.
This is contained in a statement issued by his Media Office and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli commended the resilience, talents and dreams of Nigerian children, describing them as the future of the nation.

He expressed gratitude to parents, teachers and caregivers who continue to nurture and support children to realise their potential.

The lawmaker praised the administration of President Bola Tinubu for its unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of children through impactful policies and initiatives.

Senator Alli lauded increased budgetary allocations for education and child healthcare, and the ongoing efforts to ensure access to quality education for all Nigerian children.

The lawmaker assured Nigerian children of his continued advocacy for policies that would protect their rights, provide them with quality education and create a safe and enabling environment for them to thrive.

He encouraged them to stay focused on their dreams, develop themselves academically, morally, socially and embrace good values that would make them responsible citizens.

Senator Alli called on all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, community leaders and government agencies to renew their commitment to protecting the rights of children.

He also charged all stakeholders to give them the necessary support and opportunities they needed to blossom.

“On this special day, I celebrate our children, the pride and future of Nigeria. I commend the efforts of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in championing policies that safeguard their welfare.

“Let us continue to work together to build a nation where every child’s dream is possible,” he concluded.
