Senator Alli mourns the loss of Olowo Adekile, a prominent APC leader in Ibadan North-East, Oyo State

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Raufu Salami, a prominent APC leader in Ibadan North-East Local Government, Oyo State

This is contained in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available on Thursday in Ibadan.

The Senator conveyed his condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family as well as associates of the deceased.

Alli said that the late Salami, popularly known as ‘Olowo Adekile’ contributed significantly to the party, adding his demise has left a void in the community and political landscape.

He commended the late Salami’s leadership, dedication and service to the community as well as the political sphere of Ibadan North-East Local Government.

The lawmaker prayed that Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannat Firdaos and the family fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The Senator’s tribute to the late APC leader reflected a deep sense of respect and admiration for the late Salami.

Alli expressed his sympathy for the loss to the community and the party at this time of grief and prayed that Allah (swt) grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.
