Ibadan, Nigeria – On Thursday, May 16th, 2024, Senator (Barrister) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli was recognized as the Outstanding Political Personality of the Year 2024 at the prestigious Lead City University in Ibadan. The award was presented during the 12th annual POISE DINNER & AWARDS, an event organized for the university’s final year students.

In addition to the prestigious award, Senator Alli was also inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management. The induction ceremony was held at the Adeline Hall of Lead City University, and was coordinated by the Institute’s President, Dr. Ayobami Owolabi, who also serves as the Deputy Registrar of Corporate Communications and Student Services.

The event was attended by a host of dignitaries, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Lead City University, Prof. Omolara Campbell, who presented the award to Senator Alli’s representative, his wife, Alhaja Tawa Sharafadeen Alli.

Also recognized at the event was Hon. Kazeem Ademola Alimi, who received the POISE Matured Student Award of the University and was inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management.

Other notable inductees included Prince Babatunde Balogun Oruomeniowo, the Chairman/CEO of Prince 89.7FM, and Hon. Ademola Omotoso, the former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.

The event was covered by several media outlets, including Channel TV, AIT, NTA, Prince 89.7FM, Lead Radio 106.3FM, and Lead City 89.1FM, who were on hand to broadcast the event live.
