Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has issued a warning to beneficiaries of Point of Sale (POS) terminals distributed under his initiative about fraudulent activities. Reports indicate that some individuals are sending activation codes under the guise of upgrading the terminals.
The Senator emphasized that he has not authorized any upgrades, activations, or distribution of codes related to the POS terminals.
In response to feedback from the community, Senator Alli announced plans to distribute additional POS terminals to enhance the existing initiative.
Beneficiaries are advised to ignore any messages or individuals claiming to represent the Senator for POS-related upgrades or activations. He also urged recipients to remain cautious and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate security agencies for further investigation.
