Nollywood actress Mosun Filani, also known as Ayaba Oduoye, has celebrated her daughter Semilore’s remarkable academic achievement.
Taking to her Instagram page, Filani shared photos and videos from Semilore’s graduation ceremony, revealing that her daughter not only graduated but did so as the head girl and with flying colors.
“See who just graduated… She did not just graduate, but she did as the head girl and with flying colours…,” Filani wrote, expressing her gratitude to God for this milestone. “Just like yesterday… I pray God Almighty continue to guide and protect u, increase u in wisdom, knowledge and understanding. And u will continue to make us proud, OLUWASEMILORE!”
This is not the first time Filani has publicly celebrated her daughter’s accomplishments. Last year, the actress expressed pride as Semilore overcame her fears and delivered a graduation speech in French, wowing the audience.
Filani’s daughter is the latest in a growing list of celebrity kids who have graduated this year. Last month, Monalisa Chinda was left emotional as her daughter, Tamar Lily, graduated from high school, while comedian Ayo Makun shared beautiful moments from his daughter’s ceremony, showcasing her impressive collection of awards.
Furthermore, legendary singer 2face’s first daughter with his babymama Pero Adeniyi also graduated from high school, with her proud mother and her lover in attendance to support the graduate. However, the famous father was notably absent from the ceremony.
