This is what actually killed Peju Ogunmola’s Son, Ayomikun

Fresh details have emerged on the painful loss suffered by veteran Yoruba actress, Peju Ogunmola, following the death of her only son, Ayomikun Oluwanisola.

Ayomikun, 24, reportedly died in a tragic bathroom accident while living alone abroad. According to family sources, he slipped and fell but was unable to get help in time due to his isolation.

It was gathered that the young man, who only recently completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, passed away on Tuesday.

The devastating incident has plunged his mother, Peju Ogunmola, who is based in Ibadan, into mourning. Friends and colleagues have described her as heartbroken by the sudden and untimely death of her son.

Ayomikun was the only child of Ogunmola and veteran comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe. He has been remembered as a vibrant and promising young man whose death is a heavy blow not just to his family, but also to the Nollywood community and everyone who knew him.

Fans and industry colleagues have since taken to social media to express their condolences, offering words of comfort to the bereaved family.

Funeral arrangements for Ayomikun are yet to be announced.
