Tinubu in Ondo on official visit (DETAILS)

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, has arrived in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, for an official visit. His aircraft, a Nigerian Airforce jet, touched down at the Akure airport precisely at 11:35 am.

Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Ekiti State counterpart Biodun Oyebanji, government officials, and notable politicians.

A ceremonial parade was organized at the airport terminal to receive President Tinubu in the Sunshine State.

During his visit, the President is scheduled to visit the palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, as well as the families of the late former governor of the state, Oluwarootimi Akereodolu, also in Owo.

Additionally, Mr. Tinubu will pay a courtesy call to Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the National Leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization, Afenifere, at his residence in Akure.
