Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after his recent trips to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
According to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Tinubu arrived back in the country on Wednesday.
The report comes after Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, had earlier announced on Tuesday that Tinubu would be returning to Nigeria on Wednesday.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga had stated in a message posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Tinubu had left Abuja on April 22 for an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The trip was followed by a visit to Saudi Arabia.
The President’s return to Nigeria marks the end of his overseas engagements, as he resumes his duties and responsibilities in the country.
