President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stated that food prices are stabilizing, leading to a reduction in hunger across the country.

Speaking on Sunday during a Sallah homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, led by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Tinubu highlighted improvements in economic conditions following key policy changes.

He noted that the removal of the FCT from the Treasury Single Account (TSA) had accelerated development and revitalization efforts in the capital.

“I began focusing on opening up rural areas. The long-abandoned residence of the vice president has been revived, health centers are being rehabilitated, and FCT residents now have upgraded health facilities. Schools are being renovated, and buildings furnished. Thank you, Wike,” Tinubu said.

The President also emphasized progress in security and economic stability.

“Today, we are living in peace, and security is improving. Our productivity is increasing. Hunger is reducing, food prices are coming down, and businesses are thriving in the market,” he added.
