A 33-year-old Comfort Tinubu has been accused of fatally stabbing her 39-year-old husband, Olusegun Tinubu, during a domestic dispute in Ibadan. The couple, married for three years and parents to two young children, lived in the Gbeyi area of Adegbayi.

According to sources, the altercation began around 10:00 PM on Wednesday when Comfort allegedly locked Olusegun out of their bedroom, leading to a physical confrontation. Reports indicate that during the dispute, Comfort stabbed her husband in the back.

The Oyo State Police Force confirmed the tragic event through spokesperson SP Adewale Osifeso, who stated that the incident was reported to the Gbagi Police Station. “The case is under investigation at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department. Updates will be provided accordingly,” Osifeso noted, emphasizing that inquiries are currently ongoing.
