The British car company prepares to start production in Nigeria. His message reads: “In addition to our best-seller SUV RX8 and HS, we shall also launch a locally assembled MG RX5, ZS, and ZS EV early next year. “We are also motivated by the Federal Government’s incentive programme for the nation’s auto distributors and manufacturers.” Stallion discount offers.
Shah also announced that the company will offer discounts to Nigerians ready to upgrade their cars. He said, “MG’s latest campaign is offering discerning Nigerians an exclusive opportunity to upgrade their vehicles with significant discounts applicable only to the SUV model lineup.” He also pointed out that since MG’s introduction in Nigeria in 2021, no single engine failure had been reported.
Another company had begun a vehicle manufacturing plant in Enugu. RecallNigeria Spectators earlier reported that a new automobile manufacturing company recently commenced vehicle production in Enugu.
This company, known as Ingrace Motors, received commendation from the Enugu state government for its role in promoting the production of domestically manufactured vehicles in Nigeria. Chinedu Onu, the Chief Executive Officer of Ingrace Motors, presented the company’s range of vehicles and generously provided one of their vehicles to the Enugu state government to evaluate their quality, versatility, and durability.
The announcement of Stallion’s plans to assemble cars in Nigeria has generated excitement and increased competition in the country’s car manufacturing industry. With strong players like Innoson Motors and GAC already established, Stallion’s entry into the market will undoubtedly shake things up.
Anurag Shah, the General Manager of Stallion Group’s Luxury & Premium Automotive Brands Division, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s economy through job creation and the conservation of foreign exchange. By assembling MG vehicles locally, Stallion aims to contribute to the nation’s efforts to address economic challenges.
Furthermore, as part of their 100th-anniversary celebrations, Stallion has introduced product discounts to entice Nigerians to upgrade their vehicles. The exclusive discounts will apply to the SUV model lineup, providing an excellent opportunity for residents to own high-quality cars at a more affordable price.
Interestingly, Stallion’s announcement follows the recent commencement of vehicle production by another company called Ingrace Motors. The Enugu state government praised Ingrace Motors for its role in promoting locally manufactured vehicles in Nigeria. Chinedu Onu, the CEO of Ingrace Motors, showcased the company’s range of vehicles and even provided a vehicle to the government for evaluation.
With both Stallion and Ingrace Motors making strides in the Nigerian car manufacturing industry, it is clear that there is a growing demand for locally assembled vehicles. This trend not only boosts the country’s economy but also emphasizes the importance of supporting domestic industries.
As the competition intensifies, consumers can anticipate more options and potentially better deals when it comes to purchasing vehicles. The entry of Stallion and the continued success of Innoson Motors and other players in the industry will undoubtedly contribute to Nigeria’s goal of becoming a hub for car manufacturing in Africa.
