US-based Nigerian Professor, Uju Anya, has announced her engagement to her same-sex partner, Sirry Alang. Anya took to social media on March 23 to share the news with her followers.
In her post, Anya revealed that she was under the impression that they were attending a party, but instead, she was surprised by Alang’s proposal. Surrounded by loved ones and their children, Alang asked Anya to be her wife, and Anya happily accepted.
Both professors, Anya and Alang are well-respected in their fields. They have received an outpouring of support and love from friends and followers on social media.
